A beautiful cottage in fantastic scenery. Can’t wait to come back again. Children loved the freedom.

Mr and Mrs N - Hertfordshire

A beautifully designed home inside with wonderful views from the great windows. Would love to come again. Brilliant find.

M & A West Sussex.

Not even the tail end of hurricane Katia could spoil this holiday. An achingly beautiful place.

What a find. Idyllic location and cottage. Bothy doesn’t seem to give it the recognition it deserves.

MT & J - Herefordshire

We really do love fishermans Bothy.

M & J - Cornwall

A wonderful place to stay, very warm with the log burner. Otters seen daily and sea eagles a few times.

We had an absolutely idyllic time in the Fisherman’s Bothy a few weeks ago. The location is perfect and the Bothy was more than we could ever have wished for (even the weather behaved itself). The worst thing about it was dragging ourselves away at the end of the week!

Thanks for a great stay! I had such a fabulous time and can’t thank everyone enough. I was totally “ottered” out by the end of the week and still ready for more!

Wildlife Heaven – I spent 10 days on Mull staying at Kilfinichen in the most beautiful pink, thatched Fisherman’s Bothy. Highly recommended. Every mod con you would require in your own piece of paradise. Otters seen daily, red deer grazing on the hills and a blissful bay just ten yards from the doorstep where oyster catchers, heron and sandpiper entertain and delight. The island is a bird and wildlife watchers haven. Sign up for one of the many organised tours early on if unsure where to go or just watch for anyone with binoculars focussing on “something” and ask what you’re missing. Works a treat! Whale watching from Tobermory (Sealife Surveys recommended) and Iona is a must for history and perfect beaches. Don’t expect much by way of loads of pubs, shops and tearooms as they are pretty dispersed but if you want peace, tranquility and a picture shoot wherever you rest your eyes, go to Mull!

Trip Advisor Review

Only just found the time to say that we had a wonderful time at the fisherman’s bothy, it was exactly as we’d hoped and we were really pleased that it was well kitted out too, especially in the kitchen. We enjoyed every minute of being on Mull and both feel like we’ve left our hearts there – we’ll definitely be back.

We’ve honestly never been somewhere before where it’s so quiet and idyllic. Sitting on that bench outside the front of the bothy, I swear all I could hear was the sheep, the distant rapids and my tinnitus!!

I’ve recommended the bothy to several of my friends, one is definitely going to book up for next year. Thanks again
